A Different Trajectory

A Different Trajectory

There are experiences that change us forever. Think of Moses and the burning bush. Samuel’s anointing of David. Gabriel’s visit to Mary. The day Mary told Joseph about her pregnancy. The night Joseph was visited by an angel in His dreams. The day John the Baptist told his disciples that Jesus was the Lamb of God. The day Jesus interrupted Saul’s murderous mission to Damascus. Their response to God’s intervention and direction reshaped their lives and their influence on the lives of others. Think of your own life-changing experiences with God. How has God used them to shape you as a leader?

As he neared Damascus on his journey, suddenly a light from heaven flashed around him. He fell to the ground and heard a voice say to him, “Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me?”—Acts 9:3-4

Prayer: Lord, thank You for intersecting my life and putting me on a different trajectory. Keep me humble and responsive to You as I move into this day. In Jesus’ name I pray, amen.
