When the Answers Aren't Easy

When the Answers Aren't Easy

Leading like Jesus doesn’t guarantee we have all the answers or that we will always know the steps to take in a given situation. When the pressure builds, we need even greater focus in our communion and communication with the Father. Jesus spent long hours in prayer with His Father throughout His time on earth, from His earliest days of ministry to the final hours of His life. Don’t forego the wisdom, guidance, and encouragement God has for you in times of stress. Be more intentional than ever about connecting with Him in meaningful ways.

Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed.—Mark 1:35

Prayer: Jesus, thank You for Your example of prayer. Especially in times of great pressure, may we recommit ourselves to focused time in prayer, finding perspective and renewed confidence. In Your name we pray, Jesus, amen.
