    Mercy is one of the most beautiful attributes of our Lord and God. Think of Jesus’ showing mercy to the Samaritan woman, to lepers (even those who would not return to thank Him), to the outcast, starving, and poor. In our humanness, we often cry for justice, but where would we be without God’s mercy? The proof of our having truly understood and received His mercy comes when we ourselves are shaped into people of mercy. Have you experienced His mercy?

    A radio interviewer said, “I know you teach leadership, but you talk a lot about love.  What’s love got to do with it?”  My answer was simple. “Everything.”  Love as a core value has everything to do with everything.  We continued for the next hour talking about leaders who have chosen love as their core value and the difference they make in the lives of their followers.
